MacBook Wheel

Real or fake, it’s really cool. The new MacBook Wheel.

Ever thought that maybe the keyboard would go extinct?

If You Said No: Me neither! Isn’t that an absurd thought?
If You Said Yes: Your lying.

The upcoming MacBook Wheel is basically a MacBook combined with an iPod. Instead of a keyboard which is what you are currently using, look down and imagine a circle with a dot in the center, just like the iPod’s. It takes probably two hands to circle and the middle button of course is it’s clicker. A video shows a circular menu on the screen with about 4 applications inside. As the person moves their hands around the circle, it spins the menu and the selection.

Also, if you want to type, (and here is where it gets absurd), an iPhone-like keyboard appears on-screen and as you run your hands across circle counter-clockwise it scrolls right across the letters until you find the one you want and then you press the center button.

So imagine this:

  • No mousepad
  • No keyboard
  • No caps-lock
  • No shift

And instead a circle…

Take a look at the video that shows it all, and wait for your mouth to drop as you see the price of it all.

Here is where the catch comes in… This video was published by Onion News, a-tending-to-be fake news source making this seem to me like a fake. You can watch it yourself and tell me.
